Welcome to Magic Texas — the new home for everything happening in the Texas magic scene.
If you live in DFW and you love magic (or you’ve just stumbled into a great show and want to know where the next one is), this site is for you. We’re building a magazine-style guide to the local magic community: who’s performing, where to see them, which clubs are meeting, and what’s coming up that you don’t want to miss.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Now Appearing — short, info-packed posts on upcoming shows so you always know where to catch live magic this week
- Magician Spotlights — the people behind the tricks, from local pros to rising talent to the legends who built this scene
- Venues & Clubs — where the magic happens, from comedy clubs to IBM rings to private jams
- Behind the Curtain — a peek at the craft, the business, and the history of magic in Texas
- Reviews & Scene Reports — honest takes on shows worth your time
Texas has one of the most active magic communities in the country, and most folks have no idea. We’re going to fix that — one article at a time.
Pull up a chair. The show’s about to start.
